Stanley William McCall passed away on November 9, 2025, at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. He was 63 years old.
Stanley was born on August 7, 1962, in Bronx, NY to William Yvonne McCall, Sr. and Mandalene McCall. As a child, he was home schooled from ages 8 to 12 due to kidney failure. In his teen years, he was adventurous, mischievous, and lovingly known as "Stan the Man." As a young adult, he developed a passion for cars and trucks-especially BMW and the Chrysler 300. His favorite shoes were Capezio's, and his favorite dance was the "WAP". He proudly carried the CB handle "The Little Wizard", given by his father.
In adulthood, Stanley worked as a cab driver and tow truck operator for Aries Cab, Tiffany's Auto, and Tilton's Towing.
He served as a beloved Uncle, a devoted brother, and the family's dependable driver whenever anyone needed a ride. After his father's passing in 1989, Stanley became the head of the family. He later served as a surrogate father to his niece Celeste following her father's passing. He was blessed to receive four kidney transplants in his lifetime, including one from his sister. His favorite songs were "Purple Rain" and "Return of the Mack," and he named his first motorcycle Purple Rain.
Stanley was fiercely loyal and protective of his loved ones. He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Mandalene; siblings Dorothy McCall Weston (George Weston), Yvonne McCall Carroll (Brett Carroll), Denise McCall Eady (Todd Eady), Dennis McCall (Lashinda Brooks), and Yisel McCall Baloco.
Let the family know you care by leaving your condolences, favorite memories and thoughts and prayers on the Tribute Wall.
