Dear Mrs. Duckhardt, Wendy and Melanie, and family-

I am so sorry for our loss. I know the world has been a better place because of Mr. Duckhardt. He was a man that knew what love meant, and loved each of you with all his heart.
Many women only dream of having such a wonderful husband and father, and you had him for a long good life- though he will be missed everyday, I know he is having a great time in Heaven right now!
I love you all and wish I could be there if nothing else, to hug you, to share our good memories, and to comfort you with friendship.
Love, Laura
