ARMSTRONG, Gordon Gray, 76 years of age, a resident of Richmond, Va., went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 17. Gordon was born September 23, 1932 in Richmond, Va. Gordon was preceded in death by his mother and father, Virginia and Carroll Ragland and Kelly Armstrong. He is survived by two daughters and one son, Connie Armstrong Dority and her husband, Skip Dority, April Armstrong Diaz and Shane Armstrong. He also leaves three grandchildren, Trey Dority, Tanner Dority and Cierra Diaz. He is also survived by two loving aunts, Mabel Gates and Audry Glenn. A memorial service is scheduled on Friday, October 24, at 2 p.m. in the main chapel at McGuire Veterans Hospital on 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. 804-675-5000.
