Dear Marie and family,
Connie and I were so appreciative that you wanted us to know of your dear mother's passing. We have always had such great respect for children who lovingly care for their parents. What a blessing you and your mother were to each other. Thank you for your friendship during these difficult times. God Bless you and your family. Dianne Little, Connie Hardaway

Dear Marie,
I was so very sorry to learn of Iva's death. I am glad I got to see her when I did even though I was not sure she knew me, it still meant a lot to me.
I am in NC with Nancy and Dick, and I am so sorry that I will not be able to be there for either service. I will miss seeing the rest of the family but will call and come for a visit with you at a later time. Please know that we are thinking of you at this very sad time and please take care of yourself, knowing that you did all you could to make Iva as comfortable and safe as possible during her period of illness. I know it was difficult to see her like that, but you managed it well.
Marie I am sorry that I will not be able to attend Iva's services. My thoughts are with you. I will come to Richmond next month and plan to visit with you. I am sending a long distance hug. Thank you for the pictures. Nancy

Marie, as hard as it has been for a while, it's harder still to lose a loved one, no matter how prepared you think you are. Get some rest and give yourself time to recover and grieve. Enjoy the children and grandchildren, for we know no one is promised tomorrow.
