Anna Hicks Obituary

HICKS, Anna Brooks, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord October 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janet Dobbins; sister, Jean Reid; and two brothers, Franklin and William Brooks. She is survived by her children, Joyce Berkheimer, Gloria Fredrich, Jo Anna Pritchard, and Robert Hawkins; grandson, Howard Dobbins III; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert and Edward Brooks, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday (today) at Bliley's -Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., and where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Home.
