Dr. Wrenn put on my braces in 1961, and for my entire life I have been known for my beautiful smile. I never ceased to be grateful for the skill of Dr. Wrenn, and often said that my life surely would not have taken the happy turns it has had my appearance not been so dramatically improved. Reading about Dr. Wrenn's death makes me sad, and I send my sincere condolences to you, Mrs. Wrenn.

I am the mother of Linda Headley Peay and Janet Headley Bridwell, both of whom have signed Dr. Wrenn's guest book. I was a young widow back then raising five young children, wondering how I could afford braces for two of my daughters. But Dr. Wrenn's fee was so affordable and he never charged any interest. I was truly grateful to him for that. I remember him as a very kind person. Strangely, I myself and my two daughters have had him in our thoughts just recently. God bless you. I know you have good memories.

Dr. Wren was my orthodontist from 1979-1981. Thanks to him, my smile has opened many doors. I remember visiting my regular dentist following my braces coming off, and the hygienist just marveled over the work. (I'm not kidding). When I told her Dr. Wren was my ortho, she just said "oh---I should have known." I consider him a blessing in my life and feel confident I speak for others. I hope the memories of him will sustain you and your family through this time of grief.

We knew Hugh for ten years as our neighbor "at the beach". He was always a gentleman, always kind and always ready to laugh. He will be greatly missed.
