Elijah Hunt

HUNT, PFC Elijah Kane, of King William, died at Fort Riley, Kansas, where he was stationed with the U.S. Army, and the world lost one of its most wonderful people October 20, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Yvette Shrewsbury; dad, Dusty Wheeler; and father, Scott Hunt. He leaves behind three brothers, Gage Hunt (mother Michelle Just), Zach and Nathaniel Russell (mother Janine Wheeler). His grandparents are Florence Joyce, Jon and Carol Joyce, Binnie and Charles Price, Judith Covey and Kenneth Hunt. Elijah leaves behind an enormous group of family and friends who have all been profoundly affected by his wonderful life and tragic passing. While he left this world at just 20 years old, he lived more richly and impacted more people than most do in two lifetimes. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday. Committal Service and full military honors, Hanover Memorial Park.
