We will all miss Connie. She was a friend, a mentor and a great Lady. I know that there are three very special dogs waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge- Cricket, Billy and Dewi. I can just see her giving them hugs and kisses.

Dr Christie-
I was so saddened to hear of Connie's loss- I was a dog friend of hers, and met her at the beauty parlor frequently- she always had a smile or story to tell. This is a great loss to the world of AKC purebred dogs. My sincerest condolences go out to you and your family-

Dr. Christie: We were deeply saddened to hear the news about Connie. We had known her for well over 30 years as a result of our mutual interest in the breeding and showing of Irish Setters. Connie had a real influence on the Irish Setter since she emphasized both conformation and field characteristics of this great breed. Her judging was always of the highest caliber. She will be truly missed by the purebred dog community for her knowledge and kind personality.

To Glenn, Susan and Mark, My sincerest sympathy to you on your wife and mother's passing. It seemed to me that Connie was always sporting a smile when I saw her. I always enjoyed an event more if Connie was in attendance.
I admired her for her love and dedication to the Irish Setter breed. She was a wonderful example to many new owners of the breed. She so enjoyed the well-rounded beautiful dog that could also be an intelligent hunting companion. Your Dual Ch.Can.Ch.Killagay’s Image of Tara, Am.Can.CD VCX and Connie are bright lights in our breed's history. We'll miss Connie very much.
I wish you all peace and many wonderful memories to comfort you.
