MURPHY, Mrs. Louise, 67, of Albany, Ga. died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral Mass will be held Monday 10 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. Rev. Ray Levreault will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Mausoleum. A native of Jersey City, N.J., Mrs. Murphy lived in Albany the past two years. She retired from H & R Block after 25 years. She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and a member of the Officer's Spouse Club at the Marine Corps Logistics Base. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Murphy. Survivors include her husband, Col. Raymond Murphy, USMC Retired of Albany; a son, John Michael Murphy and his wife, Tammy, of Baconton; a daughter, Maureen Murphy of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren, Stefanie Murphy, Brandon Murphy, Andrew Reeves, Anthony Reeves and Jaime Reeves. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors in Albany, where a Rosary will be held Sunday at 7 p.m., with visitation to follow until 9 p.m. Those desiring may make donations to a favorite charity.
