Richard Marshall Smith

SMITH, Mr. Richard Marshall, age 78, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008. He was the husband of the late Rachel Catlett Smith. Mr. Smith was born December 9, 1929 in Covington, the son of the late Walter Marshall Smith and Constance Eloise Lively. He retired as Chief of Vendor Services for State Department of Rehabilitative Services in Richmond with 27 years of service. Survivors include two sisters, Miriam Smith Catlett of Covington and Linda Frame-Forbes of Covington; and nieces and nephews, Timothy Frame, Roy Frame, Susan Catlett Elmore, Angela Catlett and David L. Catlett Jr. A funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008, from the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home, Covington.
