Anthony Myrle Smith

Anthony Myrle Smith, 43, of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was born February 18, 1982, in Shelby, the son of Mark Smith and Rebecca (Bennett) Snook.

Tony met his soulmate, Samantha Zoulek, whom he married on October, 19th 2024, and they spent five loving years together. They lived together in Traverse City, Lansing, and just recently moved back to Norton Shores to be closer to family and friends.

Tony graduated from Montague High School in 2001. After high school, he received his Associates Degree in Hospitality Management and he pursued a career using those skills.

Tony enjoyed traveling, cooking, watching the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions football, attending concerts, golfing, and loving his cat, Charlie Buckets all with his wife, Samantha by his side. Even though Tony and Sam only got a short life together, they lived it to the fullest with love and laughter.

Tony is survived by: his wife, Samantha Smith; mother, Rebecca Snook; father, Mark Smith; brothers, Randall (Caitlin) Smith and Nathan Smith; uncle, Donald (Carmen) Bennett; and grandfather, Darwin Bennett.

Tony was preceded in death by: his sister, Ami Smith and step-father, Steven Snook.

Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461, with Reverend Timothy Dibble presiding. Visitation will start at 4:00 PM until time of service, following the service, the family welcomes anyone who would like to share a memory in Tony's honor, to join them at North Grove Brewers in Montague.
