Rita and family,
I will always remember your Dad's sunny disposition. Although I only saw him a couple of times a year, each time was always pleasurable. One of our last conversations was at the credit union and he was telling me about the truck he had recently gotten. I was amazed by his independency. He was a great friend to my Dad and for that I'll always be greatful. He courageously fought and overcame illness for so long. I am confident that he's resting in the arms of our Lord and Saviour in peace. May your days be comforted by God's grace.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I first became acquainted with Mr. Robinson when I first joined the Richmond Police Department, in 1969.
He was an inspiration to me because he was one of the trailblazers for the black officers on the department and he never forgot where he came from.
May God bless his remaining family members and friends. Rest in peace,
my fellow officer. To the family, keep
your head high and do not weep in sorry because he is with the Lord, in heaven, today.
