Vera's Father was my pastor at Rocky Mount Pentecostal Holiness when I was but a child. We continued to have some contact with the family through the years. My heart goes out to you, and I pray that God will bring the comfort and peace that only he can.

Billy, Rachel and Family:
We know that the Joy of the Lord is YOUR strength at such a time as this! Vera’s positive testimonies and strength will be missed at Victory. Just as Vera had become a part of our daily prayers, we will daily pray for strength and endurance for your Family in the days ahead. Only God can fill the void she leaves, so we will continually pray and ask HIM to do that! Our heart-felt prayers are with you.

Billy & family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this extremely sad time. I will never forget growing up at Bellwood with all the love and admiration I had for you both. I will never forget the years that I worked for Elliott Construction. You and Vera were role models and still are to me in my career that I have today.. Vera was a wonderful person. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Even though we did not see much of you and Vera, you both were always in our thoughts.. You will never know what an impact both of you made in my life.. God Bless you and the family Brian, Susan, Kristal and Austin Walls.

Billy, Michael, Jeanette & Rachel: I know so very well how much you will miss Vera, because she was so full of life. Just maybe along this journey she will see someone she has
stopped to give a meal to and I know that would make her happy. There are so many fond memories and she will never ever be forgotten.
We were as close as any two sisters at one time but we never forgot or
stopped loving. Take comfort that
God only loaned her to us for awhile but now he needs her in Heaven.

I share the grief with you because I will miss the presence of a precious friend. No one will ever fill the space she has
left in my heart & life. I loved her better than a sister. I
pray Gods' Blessings & Arms of Comfort will embrace Billy,
and the entire family.

Billy, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We ask that the Lord will comfort your heart and give you His peace. Keep the good memories close to heart; just think it will not be long until we all join Vera and Nancy on those shores of the River of Life until then she and Nancy can once again talk about the good old days with Chesterfield County, being young parents, your days at Bellwood together and the joy of being Home with the one who died for all. Jesus said, my peace I give you!
