Yvette & Family,

I have fond childhood memories of Sister from the 70‘s and early 80‘s. When I saw her last year she was still dressing stylishly and seemed to remember “Liz‘s boy.” Sister lives in our memories. Keep your most cherished memories close to your heart. They will outlast your sorrow!

Yvette, and J.A
My fondest childhood memories are of you, and your parents. Your mom was fun to be around, and spontaneous with her wit. Growing up, Ernie and I spent a lot of time at your parent's home, and always had the best time. She was fast talking, humorous, entertaining, and unique. My heart goes out to you, and your family. Take care of each other.
Love
Robinette

Dear Yvette & JA, Frederick Jr. & I did attend the funeral and your mom looked as nice as I remember her, her hat & all, she was lovely. We could not stay for the repast, but I wanted you to know you are in my prayers. I KNOW what it's like, our mother just passed on July 1, 2008. You all, I'm sure, have lots of pleasant memories. It's so hard to realize that some people are not in our lives any longer, but the spirit is alive, so I find it comforting to still "talk" to my mom when I feel the need. Your mom touched a lot of people in a positive way. I have fond memories of her..so cheerful & full of fun. She used to stop by my house after her bingo games years ago. Take comfort in knowing she is watching you too! God Bless You All!
Sincerely, Veronica Gray Archer

Yvette, although it has been many years since I've seen you and your family, I remember you all quite well, especially from the Van de Vyver days. I remember your mother as a very pleasant lady and I know those are the kind of memories that you all have of her that will help you through these hard times.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To: Yvette & family

We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Through your mom we came to know you even more, even though you were not the patient :), but you and your mom were always a pleasure to see coming. Remember, and I know you have heard this time and time again, your mom may be immediately gone from you physically and from your literal presence, but she will always be in your heart. Treasure the memories, when you look back now you will find your self smiling more than ever, believe me I do.

In our hearts always,

Family
Family does not always mean your Father, Mother, Brother or Sister. Rather family can be the ones that are close to you; that you grew up with and shared good and bad times with. The ones that were there for you when you needed a shoulder to lean on and to help bare the burden of your troubles. That is what Junius and Ada were; FAMILY. Yvette and J.A. I know you miss Junius and now your mom; Ada. She was a friend to the end, with a smile, a good heart and good ear. I truly will miss her as well, but she is gone to a better place.
Love you both

Yvette, Mann & Lil Kenny, I know there are not enough words to fulfill the void that you're feeling at this difficult time. Please find comfort in knowing that there is a greater love above, where there's no more pain nor suffering. Yvette, I met your mother a few times and you have her same qualities, loving, sweet and kind, with a heart of gold. I would always ask Damian about her, saying I was going to see Ms Ada. Time does fly and we never know when we might leave our love ones. Maybe gone but not forgotten.

to Yvette, Jay and Terri I am so sorry to hear of your loss just know that to be absent from the body is to present withe the lord.

I see tears fall down your face

When your thoughts have turned to me.

Just know that I’m in heaven,

With my Lord, who’s set me free.

No pain or sadness do I feel,

For God is by my side.

The beauty here in Heaven

Is now where I reside.

I know it’s hard for you to cope

For you can’t feel my touch.

But every moment, I can see

And love you very much.

When you are at your lowest

And feel you can’t go on,

Look towards the heavens

The light will be turned on.

Talk to me, just like you did

On earth when I was there.

You see, I’m not so far away …

Only as far as a prayer.

And when it’s time for you to join

Me up in Heaven above.

It’s then that you will realize,

The Golden Place of love.

For here there is no sadness,

Just everlasting light.

Someday we will be joined again,

When it’s time to take your flight.
