I was blessed to know Mrs. Stewart when she was a resident of Spring Arbor Assisted Living. She always had a kind word of encouragement and a smile for everyone. She will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Miss Lankford was my elementary teacher (4th grade?) in Suffolk nearly 60 years ago and I still have clear memories of her. She was a strong advocate of reading as I recall. She was quite young and energetic - my favorite elementary teacher and the one I remember the best. She was wonderful.

Vicky and Bobby,
My heart is with you both. I have so many memories of nice conversations and warm times with your mother. She was a fine woman. I loved hearing her say my name and can still hear it clearly. Take good care,

I taught with Virginia, many years ago, and still fondly remember the time we spent working together and the mentoring she gave to me as a starting teacher. She was a fine lady. My sympathy to you in your loss. Joanne Crews
