FRANCE, Mrs. Irma Lee Allison, 79, of Haynesville, Va., passed away on Saturday, November 15 2008. Mrs. France was the widow of Gordon France, a member of Totuskey Baptist Church and a retired teacher for Richmond County Schools. Survivors include her daughters, Cathy France of Locust Grove and Debbie Goddin and husband, Gil, of Warsaw; two sisters, Frances Fallin of Kilmarnock and Hilda Dunaway of Haynesville; three grandchildren, Justin Vanlandingham, Daniel France and Tara Goddin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Totuskey Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 this evening (Tuesday) at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Richmond County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 55, Warsaw, Va. 22572 or to the Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, Va. 22407. Online condolences may be made at www.welchfuneralhomeva.com.
