Jean Ann Meador

MEADOR, Jean Ann, 77, of Henrico, passed away in the presence of her loving family on November 20, 2008. Mrs. Meador was a lifelong resident of the Richmond area, and a retiree of the Life Insurance Company of Virginia. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James Alfred; five children, Judith Ann Davis and husband, Terry, of Chesterfield, Jacqueline Ann Walton of Henrico, Jennifer Anne Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., James A. Jr. and wife, Jill, of Hanover, Jeffrey A. and wife, Karen, of Chesterfield; sister, Virginia Smith of Elkhorn, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Anthony. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 21, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum Chapel. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. the following day at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
