Dear Bocock Family,
I was heart broken to hear of Freddie's passing. He was a fine gentleman with a kind heart. He will never be forgotten and every time I ride the lovely Crackers, I'll be sure to think of him. You all are in my thoughts. He will surely be missed.
Love and deepest sympathies,
Edward O. Zakaib

My sympathies go out to the Bocock family. Freddie was a kind and wonderful man who will be missed on so many levels. His energy and enthusiasm were a delight to all that had the privelege to know him.

Freddie was the best, always greeting you with a smile on his face and a kind word. His example lives on in his children and grandchildren. We'll miss him so.

Berta and family,
Brooks and I are so sorry to hear if Freddie's passing. Our time caring for Crackers and trail riding with the two of you at Little Hawk is a treasured memory. I remember fondly Freddie riding in the front with his clippers clearing the trail and having the branches fall on my head. Also best remembered is his big smile and gentle spirit.
Our deepest love during this difficult time.

To Berta and the Family,
I will miss seeing Freddie tack up and ride out on his beloved "Crackers". Missed too will be his stories of hunting in Ireland...stories of riding from one Irish crossroads to another in the dark of night after a day of fast runs and wide ditches.
Freddie could talk politics as well, but always with a Virginian's sensibilities for difference of opinion, thus I will miss our political talks over a farm fence board.
I will simply miss a true Virginia gentleman.

To the Bocock family:
Sue and I are out of town and were saddened to read of the death of Mr. Bocock. He was a wonderful friend to our family and a very supportive person of me in my teaching and coaching career at St. Christopher's School. The Bocock family were always there for me and my family a lesson I have never forgotten as I to try to be there for others. Sue and I will certainly make every effort to be with the Bocock family on Monday morning at 11:00 am. God bless a wonderful man and a very loving family. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.
