Mr. Fred “Dwayne” Bocock, age 56, of Partick Springs, Virginia, passed away on February 10, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was born to the late James Willie Bocock Jr. and Rosa Lee Handy Bocock on January 31, 1969, in Patrick County. He was preceded in death by his father. Dwayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. His true joy in life was his children, he cherished the time spent with them.
Mr. Bocock is survived by his four children, Nicole Bocock of Stuart, Harley Bocock of Patrick Springs, Brandon Bocock of Woolwine, and Brooklynn Bocock of Stuart; three grandchildren, Mariah King, and Laylah and Nahla Johnson; his mother, Rosa Handy Bocock of Patrick Springs; sister, Kathy Michaels (Herschel) of Collinsville; niece, Logan Clifton (Austin) of Spencer; and one great-niece, Avery Clifton.
A celebration of life service for Mr. Bocock will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, Virginia is assisting the family and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
