Wendy J. Eslinger Bocock, formerly of Prentice, WI passed away on January 20, 2026 at Fuquay-Verina Health and Rehab Center in Fuquay-Verina, NC. Wendy was born to Wilbur and Edna Eslinger. They lived in Villa Park, IL until moving to Spirit, WI in 1962. She attended grade school and high school in Prentice.
She enjoyed 4-H and church. Wendy married John Bocock of Ogema in 1967 and started their family having two sons John Jr. and Christopher, and a daughter Vicki. Later they moved to Knightdale, NC. Sadly, John and Wendy divorced years later. Wendy loved her family, friends, and especially her furry friends.
Wendy will be remembered for her sense of humor. She enjoyed get togethers, and attending church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Edna, ex-husband John, and brother-in-law Rudy Francek Sr.
Wendy is survived by her children, John (Misty) of Clayton, NC, Christopher (Jennifer) of Wilson, NC, and Vicki (Troy) Park of Cameron, NC and eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren and further survived by her three sisters, Diane (Ed) Sorrells of Knightdale, NC, Audrey (Walter) Tesch of Prentice, WI and Patricia (Rudy) Francek of High Point, NC and brother-in-law Larry (Sue) Bocock of Phillips, WI and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A family visitation was held January 24th in Knightdale, NC. Her remains will be interred at her parent's site in Chapel Hills Gardens West in Elmhurst, IL at a later date.
