Grover C. Bullock

BULLOCK, Grover C., 88, of Henrico County, Va., died Thursday, November 27, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Inez Henley Bullock. He is survived by his son, Fred Bullock and his wife, Dale; and his daughter, Joan B. Isaacs and her husband, Ronnie. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Jim Bullock (Sherry), Dana Keup (Ken), and Chris Crist (Matt); four stepgrandchildren; his great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kasey, Tanner, Sydney, Jenna, Lindsey and Ryan; and other family members. Mr. Bullock was a graduate of Varina High School and attended Richmond Professional Institute (VCU). He was a WWII veteran and the founder of Bullock's Bookkeeping and Tax Service. After the sale of his business, he worked part-time as a comptroller for Libbie Convalescent Center and Ginter Hall. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 in the mausoleum at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, 8716 West Broad Street, Richmond, Va. 23294.
