James “Jim” Bullock, age 81, of Ewing, Virginia (formerly of Belleville, Michigan) passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones, on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Born April 17, 1944, to the late Harold and Beulah Bullock, Jim devoted his life to being a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Jim would later go on to retire from Detroit Edison Electric Company, having dedicated many years, as a sub station operator. He was a long-time member of Myrtle Masonic Lodge #89 and Order of the Eastern Star, both of Belleville, Michigan.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Baker.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Mary Clonce Bullock; three sons, Shawn (Kathy) Ortega, Harold (Elizabeth) Bullock and James Bullock; one brother, Dave (Cynthia) Bullock; three grandchildren, Jake Ortega, Jessica Bullock and Jackson Bullock; three great grandchildren, Amari, Joy Lynn and Paul III; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel, of Harrogate, Tennessee, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 5PM-8PM. Masonic services will be conducted courtesy of Martin Station Lodge #188 of Martins Station, Virginia, immediately following the visitation.
Funeral services with Military Honors, will be held, at the funeral home, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2PM, with Rev. Paul Clonce, officiating. Music will be by Tommy Belcher.
Interment to immediately follow funeral services at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Virginia with friends and family to serve as pallbearers.
