JOHN WAS THE FIRST PERSON I MET AT OVERNITE, AND IT IS TRUE, HE WAS HARD TO GET TO KNOW ,BUT ONCE YOU DID YOU HAD THE DEAREST FRIEND YOU COULD EVER HAVE HOPED FOR. HE WAS SMART AND FUNNY AND TOLD IT LIKE IT WAS ,WHILE NOT TAKING ANY CRAP FROM ANYONE, INCLUDING HIS ILLNESS. WE WOULD GO TO LUNCH 1CE A WEEK FOR MANY YEARS, JUST SIT,CHAT AND ENJOY EACH OTHERS COMPANY, WHAT A HELL OF A GUY.

I knew John for only 4 years. He was the first person I met when I came to the Overnite/UPS family. He was my trainer/mentor at first, but became my true friend shortly thereafter. He is one of the smartest and funniest men I have ever met. He wil be greatly missed.

I am truly sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. I only knew John for such a little while but he showed myself and others how to stay strong through such a hard time.I know the family will take after Johns example through this hard time and stay strong too. All my best to the family and friends who lost someone very dear to them. May he rest in peace.

God saw you getting tired. When a cure was not to be,
He closed his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me".
In tears we saw you sinking. We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back to suffer so again.
So keep your arms around him Lord, and give him special care.
Make up for all he suffered and all that seemed unfair.

WE WILL FIND A CURE BUNGY TWIN!!!!
Condolences to the family
John will be greatly missed!

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

john know that you will be missed very much and will always in my heart love ya
