JOHNSON, Mr. Eugene, departed this life November 27, 2008 at Retreat Hospital. He was born February 8, 1924 in Northampton, N.C. He was preceded in death by father, Tillmon Johnson; mother, Betty Macklin Johnson; son, Keith D. Johnson; brother, Logan Johnson; sisters, Lubell Johnson, Catherine Fox, Quinnie Fox, Pauline Jones, Decola Saucier, Marie Robinson, Estelle Johnson, Ella Gowens, Pinkey James and Mary Caudle. He leaves to moan a wife, Frieda Bleckman Johnson; sister, Mrs. Lula Mae Fields of Henrico, N.C.; sons, Keith Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Audwyn Johnson, Kevin R. Johnson and Eugene Johnson Jr.; daughter, Eugenia Johnson, all of North Carolina; stepsons, Rev. Reginald Antoine of Villa Rica, Ga., Cornelle Antoine and Wayne Antoine, of Staten Island, N.Y.; special friends, Mrs. Audry Williams of Raleigh, N.C.; many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be Tuesday, December 4, 2008 at Cremation Society of Virginia, 1927 Westmoreland St., Richmond, Va. 23230. 804-355-3360.
