William Schools Obituary

SCHOOLS, William Mallory, of Richmond, Va., died Tuesday December 2. He was 81 years old. He is survived by his wife, Patricia W. Schools; his son, David A. Schools; his sister, Evelyn S. Peple; and his stepchildren, Patricia G. McGinnis, Thomas M. Gwaltney and Sandra G. Hunter. He served the U.S. Navy during WWII. He graduated with a BA from the University of Richmond, where he was president of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was an avid enthusiast of sailing and enjoyed playing bridge and billiards. Visitation will held Thursday, December 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. River Road Church, Baptist, 8000 River Road, and memorial services will be held Friday, December 5 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel at River Road Church, Baptist. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River Road Church, Baptist or Bon Secours Hospice.
