I'm so glad I had a chance to know and work with Dee. However, she has truly been an inspiration throughout her ordeal. I will hold dearly the times when she'd break into laughter and fondly recall some of the jokes shared in our Trade unit at the VEC.
You have my sincere sympathy in your loss. May God give you comfort for your grief.

My prayers are with the family and sons. I knew your years ago when the twins were about 2 years old. Dee as I use to call her was a beautiful person and always wanted the very best for her sons. For many years you were my family and I will always love you for that. Daryl was once like my sister and the things we went through, could never be re-done. (smile) It will take time, but... I have been a long friend to this family when I came to Charles City to work at the Rec Center. Darryl was like a younger sister to me as well as her sister & brothers. Her mother let me stay in their house until got a place to stay in Charles City. I became very close to Daryl and her Mother & Family. Daryl was always a out going person but was always herself all the time. I will miss her and would like to express my condolences to her family. Rember that "God" is in everything that happens to us. Losing your sister, Daryl is hard to bear right now but the love you showed each other will in time fill the empty spots. Believing in God's mercy and grace is the key to comfort. God does answer prayers, he answered Daryl's. Its not always what we want but he knows whats always best for us. Dee was a bright and shining star here on this earth. Now she is shining on us from Heaven. I am so grateful for the friendship we shared.
