Mamie Dixon

DIXON, Ms. Mamie, of Richmond, formerly of Halifax, departed this life December 9, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Dixon. She is survived by two daughters, Shanitra and Tiffany Dixon; her mother, Hilda Dixon; two sisters, Marie Dixon and Barbara Roberts; six brothers, Joseph, Carl, Charlie and Jessie Gilmore, Randy and Orange Dixon; five aunts, one uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, three sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted Beverly Batts. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
