ANDERSON, Shirley Purnell, 68, of Ruther Glen, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Wilburt T. Anderson; four sisters, two brothers, and a host of other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Va. 22427, with the Rev. Rico Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Milford, Va. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 11, 2008 from 12 to 8 p.m., and one hour before the service on Friday. Online condolences may be sent to www.cwedwardsfuneralhome.com.

It was a pleasure knowing and serving Mrs. Anderson at the Outpatient Infusion Center. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mr Anderson, I just want to share with you how much Miss Shirley will be missed. In the short time that I knew her, I really enjoyed her sincere personality. Her thoughts were always on you & her sister Lorraine.
