Dearest John,
I so enjoyed our many talks after learning of your illness. I believe we remeinisce just about everything from our wedding date to the present times of your walking the beach with Cindy and the dogs, going out in the Gulf in your boat and fishing with your son, Keith and Randall, and expressing to me if you could make a wish it would be to go fishing and how much you would love for me to come visit and see your cottage and to meet your lovely daughter, Cindy., (daddy's little girl'). And of course, your "Cat" the only cat you had befriended since we had our kitten, Misty and our dog, Queenie. I regret that I never made that trip but am so happy we shared some beautiful memories and expressed our love for each other. John,
I will miss those many days on the water talking and enjoying the day. I will always think of you looking out over the water with a pole in one hand and a smoke in the other saying 'it doesn't get any better than this'
