Allie Turnes Obituary

TURNES, Allie Ingram, 90, of Richmond, formerly of Lunenburg County, passed away December 10, 2008. She is survived by two sons, Bob and David Currin; daughter, Susan Turnes; sister, Frances Spargo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Turnes was retired from the Virginia Dept. of Corrections. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Lucy Corr Village and Care Advantage for their devotion. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Ramsey Memorial United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. at Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery in Keysville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ramsey Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund, 5900 Hull Street Rd., Richmond, Va. 23224.
