Walter Flanagan Obituary

FLANAGAN, Walter R., of Duxbury, Mass., passed away December 10, 2008 at the age of 88. Walter was the husband of the late Marguerite F. (Rochon) Flanagan. He is survived by two sons, Christopher M. Flanagan of Duxbury and Kevin T. Flanagan of Seattle, Wash.; his grandchildren, Courtney Brooke Elio and Dalton C. Flanagan, both of Arizona; three great-grandchildren, Max Elio, Theo Elio and Luca Elio; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edmund Flanagan; and his sisters, Frances, Grace, Mildred and Irene. A memorial service will be held January 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the First Parish Church, Tremont Street in Duxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of the Greater Richmond Chapter, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130. Glen Allen, Va. 23060. Remembering the good times with Uncle Bob, Aunt Marguerite, Chris and Kevin. Time passes so fast but I will always have the memories. Thinking of you all on January 24th and hope to visit soon.

Our Uncle Bob will always be remembered by his many nieces and nephews as a very kind, warm and caring person. Our sincerest condolences to cousins Kevin and Chris, to Mary and to his dear grandchildren and great grandchildren at this sad loss.
