LACY, John Wesley, 83, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Calvin and Goldie Mae Lacy; four brothers, Earl, Elmo, Emmett and Kenneth Lacy; two sons, William C. and M. Ray Lacy; and nephew, David Lacy. Mr. Lacy is survived by his devoted daughter, Patricia L. Buisset and husband, Dennis; his daughter-in-law, Nancy I. Lacy; six grandchildren, Lee Sowers and husband, Scott, Julia Adele and husband, Steve, Tonya Bennett and husband, Jeff, Georgia Desper and husband, Dave, Franklin Buisset, Vickie Jones and husband, Mallory; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ann Kuhl; two nieces, Betsey Jones and husband, Ronnie, Carolyn Saunders and husband, Billy; nephew, Bobby Lacy and wife, Pat. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum Chapel, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, at 2 p.m. Interment Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
