To Michelle & Family
God has a plan that sometime I know we just do not understand. I know it's hard to loose a special love one and that you feel your circle has been broken. Keep in mind and in your hearts that what your love one couldn't do here on earth, he can do up with our father in heaven. If either of you need anything, just call. Love Always

To Pearl,Tommy,Diane & all of the Burrell family
I wish you comfort, the feeling that comes from knowing how much we care for you. I wish you hope & peace that comes from that inner strength that the Lord provides even in the deepest sadness & the calm that will come from trusting in God.
The footprints that Rufus left on my heart, I will carry with me. I think of his beautiful smile each time I would say..Tuck in that rump & stand up straight.." And that would be followed by that joyful "belly" laugh that just warmed my heart. May you find solace in knowing he touched the hearts of many and left a legacy of being a very "gentle man". Love to each of you...Cathy B.

Kandy and Family,
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. May you find comfort from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:1-3)

Dear Thomas, Nadine & The Entire Burrell Family,
~ God's Promise ~
God doesn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain.
But God does promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and a light for the way.
And for all who believe in His kingdom above, He answers their faith with everlasting love.
I hope that you feel the same peace that I feel about my mother's passing. We no longer have to be concerned about how she's going to be able to manage each day's challenges. She had Parkinson's disease and lived to be 89 years young. My mother died the same day as your father.
~Judi~

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
