After retirement, Larry and his wife moved to the Carolinas to be closer to his sons, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren. Larry was a member of Transformation Church, under the leadership of Lead Pastor Derwin Gray, where his faith and fellowship with others were an important part of his life.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Diane; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Lamar (Edith) Burrell and Lawrence Jr. (Junique) Burrell; and four grandchildren, Jaena (16), Grace (12), Leah (10), and Grant (7). He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Ann Burrell- Moore (Richard); his sister-in-law, Lajoyce Miller; his nephew, Marcus; his niece, Khaya Lucien; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
