Dorothy Mae Wofford

Dorothy Mae Bickford Wofford, age 94, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Somerby Baxter Village.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Wolfe Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.
Born in Highland Park, MI, she was the daughter of the late Orrin George Bickford and Mable Mae Noll Bickford. Dorothy was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Ferndale, MI class of 1949. She was a well-loved and devoted nurse to all people, patients, her community and pets. Dorothy enjoyed going to church, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, playing card games and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Steve Wofford, Gary Wofford; grandchildren, John, Nick, Olivia, Brooks, Wyatt and one great-grandchild, Harrison. Memorial may be made to: The Humane Society of York County. Condolences: www.wolfefuneralhome.com.
