TAYLOR, Donald W., 81, of Richmond, died January 17, 2009. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael R. Taylor. Surviving are his wife, Patricia E. Taylor; two daughters, Catherine Jones and Cheryl Taylor-Thomas; one son, Derick D. Taylor; grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, at St. Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road. Rev. Kirkland Walton officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Online guest book at www.scottsfuneralhome.com.

Family, our hearts are saddened with the loss of someone so special as Donald. He touched, encouraged and influenced multiple generations with his kindness, intellect and humor. We, too will miss him.
