FARWELL, Pasqualina Anne Caputi, 78, passed away on January 15, 2009 after a long illness. Li was a gifted pianist, accompanist, and teacher, whose family and friends remember her lovingly as a caring, intelligent, and joyous person. Her talents, humor, and endearing qualities touched all who knew and loved her. Surviving her are her son, David, his wife, Kathleen and stepson, Daniel Gidick of Johns Island, S.C.; two brothers, Dr. Anthony Caputi and wife, Katherine, of Newport, R.I., Dr. Saverio Caputi of Greenwood, Ind.; a sister, Dr. Marie Caputi of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two nieces, Linda Burton and husband, Jack, of Alexandria, Va., Jennifer Schuster of Lake-in-the-Hills, Illinois; and six nephews, Andy Caputi and wife, Amy, of Milton, Fla., Stephen and James Caputi of Greenwood, Illinois, Richard Koulbanis and wife, Caryl, of Westerly, R.I., John Koulbanis of Redondo Beach, Calif., Paul Koulbanis and wife, Carole, Andy Caputi and wife, Amy, of Milton, Fla. Memorials may be made to her alma mater, The Juilliard School, Office of Development and Public Affairs, 60 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, N.Y. 10023-6588, or The American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10006.
