Marion and Family,
I attended Carver High School, graduating in 1962. Jean Turner Barber and I have kept in touch, and she told me of Bruce's passing. Please know that we share in your sorrow, but remember that "joy comes in the morning."
I just looked through my pictures from our 40th Year Class of 1962 Reunion held on June 29, 2002, at Holiday Inn in Culpeper, and there was a great picture of Bruce!

The Ford Family,
We were saddened to learn that Mr. Ford had made his transition. Please know that you have our heartfelt sympathy and always remember - "Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it's just enough to know that they are standing by." If there is anything we can do to assist, please contact us.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

To Marion & Nicole: As you go through one of life's greatest sorrows, the loss of your husband and father, may your own faith in God sustain you and bring you comfort today, courage for tomorrow and hope in your hearts always. May you find strength and comfort in the knowledge that grief diminished as memories nourish the heart. You are in our prayers.
