LOFTIN, Therese Finnegan, of Richmond, passed away January 27, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy "Pete" Finnegan. She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Floyd Loftin; two children, Jessica L. Coskrey and Michael Loftin; a brother, Billy Finnegan; five sisters, Pat Jennings, Margaret Montgomery, Kathy Crist, Joan Finnegan and Linda Morrissett; two grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Coskrey; one nephew, Andy Jennings; four nieces, Theresa Whitley, Penny Hildreth, Wendy Smith and April Morrissett. Therese was a selfless, devoted and optimistic wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, January 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 1600 Willow Lawn Dr., Richmond, Va. 23230, or Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd., Richmond, Va. 23220.

Jessica,
So sorry to hear about your mom. She was a very loving and kind person. I have so many fond memories of her. I still have all of the horse ornaments that she gave me each Christmas and I hang them on the tree every year. My parents send their regrets as well. We are all thinking of you during this time.
