Margaret Loftin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on November 27,1941 in Houston, Texas to Eugene and Amy O'Rourke. She was the oldest of four children. Maggie lived a life full of love, creativity and devotion to her family. After high school, Maggie married the love of her life, Bobby Ray Loftin. Together they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage filled with laughter, faith and love. They supported one another through the good times and hard times. Bob and Maggie enjoyed the simple moments like drinking coffee together, family dinners and holidays surrounded by loved ones. Together, they raised two children and were later blessed with five grandchildren, who were Maggie's most precious treasures. Nothing brought her more joy than being "Gramsie". She loved spending time with her grandchildren, celebrating their milestones and showering them with love and encouragement. Maggie had a strong faith in God and lived her life as a reflection of her faith. She trusted His plan and encouraged others to do the same, often reminding her family that prayer could get them through anything. Her quiet strength and unwavering belief were a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. She dedicated most of her life to being a stay-at-home mom, pouring her heart into raising her family with patience, grace and unconditional love. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter and the smell of delicious, home-cooked meals. She took great joy into decorating her house for each season, especially Christmas! She had a special talent for creating spaces that were beautiful and festive. Her home reflected her creativity and the happiness that she brought others. In addition to caring for her family, Maggie shared her artistic talent and eye as a designer for Cornelius Nursery. She took great pride in her work, creating beautiful designs that brought joy to others. Her creativity and attention to detail were admired by everyone who worked with her. Her gentle spirit, kindness and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Loftin; her children, Amy Loftin-Feely, Jason Loftin and his wife Desirae Loftin; her grandchildren, Sarah Feely, Peyton Feely, Lauren Loftin, Raegan Loftin and Kesley Loftin; her sister, Elizabeth Wright; her brothers, Dennis O'Rourke, Patrick O'Rourke and his wife Kathy O'Rourke; plus, a host of loving, extended family members and friends. Pallbearers for the service are Peyton Feely, Kenny Turner, Jimmy Turner, Mark Hall, Mark Hall Jr. and Chris Herron.
