I am truly distressed to hear of Kenny's passing. We have been exchanging e-mails about once a month threatening to get together for lunch. I had no idea. Kenny and I are childhood buddies going back to mid elementary school. I have always enjoyed Kenny's friendship and he will sorely missed by me as I know he will be missed of all of his friends and family.

My name is Eddie Weeks and I worked with Kenny Gibbs for many years at the Virginia Department of Corrections Central Office. Kenny and I became friends and I will always remeber him because he was always in a good mood and was good communicator and listened to what you had to say during a conversation. He will be missed.

I spent a summer renting a room from Kenney when I was 16 years old back in 1976. Kenney was a kind landloard. He never seemed to have an alarm clock that would wake him up. I am the brother-in-law of Eddie Wood. I am sorry for your loss he will always be in my memories.

MY CONDOLANCES TO KENNY'S FAMILY, AND HIS FRIENDS. HE WAS ALWAYS A GOOD PERSON TO BE AROUND. NO MATTER HOW LONG THE INTERVAL BETWEEN SEEING HIM, KENNEY WAS "RIGHT THERE" WHEN HE SAW YOU THE NEXT TIME. I WILL ALWAYS FONDLY REMEMBER HIM.
