Steven E Gibbs

Steven E Gibbs, 75, was born in Daytona Beach FL and passed away peacefully on Oct 28, 2025. He grew up in Port Orange
FL. After High School he completed the IBEW apprenticeship program and became a proud IBEW journeyman wireman electrician/master electrician with IBEW Local Union 756 for 55 years. He was also the Past President of IBEW Local 756
Retirees Club.
He has worked many places including Kennedy Space Center, the Alaska Pipeline, power plants and for over 25 years worked on the electrical installation of newspaper printing presses all over the US and in Singapore. He loved to fix things for his neighbors, friends, and fellow campers. He enjoyed camping and being a member of the Daytona Drifters camping club. He liked to fish and especially to throw his cast net for shrimp.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Diane Gibbs and his pup Sissy. He leaves three children, Mike, Jeff and Stephanie, also, three brothers, Lee (Alesia) Gibbs, Jack Gibbs, and Eric (Donna) Gibbs, along with many nieces and nephews.
