Viola Morris Obituary

MORRIS, Viola Mae, 90, of Chesterfield, passed away January 28, 2009. She is survived by two sons, John S. Morris and his wife, Lottie, of Moseley, Va., and Herman E. Morris of Chesterfield; one daughter, Mary S. Morris of Morristown, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Daniel E. and John R. Morris; two great-grandchildren, Shawn and Nina Morris; and a devoted family friend, Will Edwards. Her family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 18100 Genito Rd., Moseley, Va. 23120. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church building fund.

Dear Herman and Will,

I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with you and your family in the care of Viola. She was a very strong and courageous woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
