Travis Stanley Obituary

STANLEY, Travis H., 85, of Montpelier, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, February 13, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee Byers Stanley; and two sons, Travis Franklin and Charles Henry Stanley. He is survived by a daughter, Travis Ann Huber and her husband, Jim; two sons, Timothy Lee Stanley and wife, Cindy, and Michael Marshall Stanley; by six loving grandchildren, Taylor Ann, Jim and Jake Huber, Austin, Logan and Alexis Stanley; and by his mother-in-law, Frances West Byers. Mr. Stanley was a retired machinist for Molins Machine Company with over 30 years of service. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the Nelsen Funeral Home - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Scotchtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Private interment in the Stanley family cemetery.
