Bessie I will always have sweet memories of you. Remembering running to the edge of the yard of your house to watch the trains go by when I was a little girl. You yelling at us not to get to close to the edge. Visiting you when yal lived in Maryland. Going on vacation to get your brand new teeth. We ended up at South of the Border and the old drunk man came and sat down beside you. All you could do was eat soup because your mouth were hurting so bad from your new teeth. He really liked the way you looked and did his best to strike up a conversation with you. The look on your face was priceless. I will truly miss all the smiles you gave away freely. You were truly a wonderful loving Grandma.

Nanny,
I will always treasure the times I shared with you. When we would sit on the couch and giggle together and Dave would always want to know why we were laughing. The shared cups of coffee, washing and curling your hair, the hugs and kisses, all the times you called me "shell corn", the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners we had with you. I feel honored to have taken care of you in your final months. And don't worry about your baby, I'll take good care of him for you. I love you.

Mom,
I will miss your loving smile and how you worried about me so much . I promise to wear my coat, (even in the summer), and go to bed early to get some rest, (even if it isn't yet 8pm). I will miss your wonderful sense of humor that was passed down to me. Most of all, I will miss your hugs and kisses and how you used to say back to me "awww, I love you too", and "that's my Baby"!
I know you are in peace now but I will miss you.

Our prayers go out to the entire family. Mrs Childress, in her own special way, had a way to touch your heart on an every day basis. We enjoyed sharing with Wallace and Bessie along with Jessica and Christina at the Bellwood Church. May God bring comfort and healing to their hearts during this time.
