Mrs. Carter, Jacque, and Family,

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Rev. Carter. Let your memories of him and the joys you find in celebrating his wonderful life sustain you in the days ahead. At the word of his passing, I realized that I have known Rev. Carter all of my life. Even greater than that realization, I can happily say that I always found him to be a man of God, kindly in heart, and encouraging in his words. It was an honor for me to know him and I confirm today that his insightful sermons made a difference in my life.

Very truly yours,

Willis

Mrs Helen, I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Rev. Carter. I remember living at 624 N.33rd Street Apt.B with my sisters and you and Rev. Carter inviting, and taking us to church in Sandston, Va. to hear him preach, and I remember loving and looking forward to the next time I was invited. I have missed you both so very much, and I have told my three children and three grandchildren about these many wonderful experiences. Again, I offer my heartfelt condolences to you and Jacque and all of your family. May your fond memories and your strong faith keep you strong.

#SUDDEN DEATH

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
“Corinthians 1: 3
DEAR MRS. CARTER & FAMILY:

My precious Lord:

I come to you with a broken heart. I am unable to accept this sudden loss. Wise lord! I feel utterly lost and terribly lonely! There is none to comfort me beside you. I turn to you and shed my tears at your feet.

Lord you shed tears when Lazarus died and you know the anguish of a bereaved soul. You have promised to comfort me and be with me when I walk through the valley of tears and sorrow. Be with me O Lord, and engulf me with your comforting presence. Even now as I cry to you and wash your feet with my tears, console me just as a Mother would and wipe away my tears. Let my anguished soul find rest in you Master! O, Lord please embraces me and surrounds me with Your Strength and comfort. I lean upon your bosom Lord! You have said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Lord, please be a father to me and lead me. Let the peace which Surpassed all understanding descend upon me. Be with me Lord; strengthen my hands and set my foot on high with all humility I offer this prayer in Jesus name. It takes a long time to get used to the loss of someone we love. But it’s important to remember that when people die, they leave something very special behind they leave us memories of many things they said and did. And as long as we have those memories, they will always be in our heart.

A-MEN
With Deepest Sympathy

MAY GOD BLESS YOU, YOURS IN CHRIST
