William Dixon Obituary

DIXON, William Douglas, 61, of Rapid City, South Dakota, formerly of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday, February 17, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, James Dixon; mother, Gertrude Bell; and stepfather, Henry Bell. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Scot (Tammy) Beaird and Blake (Stacy) Dixon; brothers, John Terry Dixon and Joseph Irvin Bell; sisters, Susan Belcher and Vickie Bell. He is also survived by aunts, Kathleen Willis, Bobbie Perkinson, Frances Boyd, Lorene Pittinger and Mary Shepperson; as well as seven grandchildren, many loving friends, in-laws, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials be made to Hospice of the Hills, 1011 11th Street, Rapid City, S.D. 57701.
