Ruth Anne - We are all thinking of you and your family during this time. You always spoke of Sidney with such caring and love. I thought it was fitting that we had such a beautiful blanket of snow right after his passing. Brings peace & serenity to nature. Remember him and all of the stories.

Daddy,
I want to thank you for being a great father to me. Everything you told me about life, even when I didn't think you were right, was true. You made me the person I am today. Growing up on the farm was the best life a child could have, simple living and lots of love. You and mom always made sure we had what we needed and some of what we wanted and it made me appreciate things. We had so much fun on our Sunday rides towards the mountains always with our soft drink and potato chips. You loved the country life so much and just sitting in the yard watching your 'cows' and playing with Fancy. I could see the happiness in your eyes and you were so content. I know you will miss taking care of your cows and babysitting Fancy but your time has come to rest and you deserve it. You lived a good life and you showed us all so much love. You were so good when you were sick, you listened to everything we tried to tell you and you were no trouble. Ruth Anne and Bubba took such good care of you, I can never thank them enough. I couldn't be there all the time but I never once worried about your care. I knew you were being taken care of with love and tenderness. You know you are not alone, you took a little of all our hearts with you on Sunday and I am glad that I got to spend your last few days with you. Some said my birthday must have been sad and at first I thought it was but then I got to spend my birthday with you and you were able to tell me happy birthday and that meant the world to me. I will never forget you and what you have done for me. I will see you again in heaven. Like Bubba said have the farm ready and we will be there to help you later. I am glad you are not suffering any more. I know you didn't want to go, but isn't it beautiful! Look down on us now and then and we will be looking up to you. God Bless you Daddy and thank you for being my father.
I love you - "Skit"
