I am so sorry to hear of James's passing. He was like a brother to me, from very young childhood on through life. He was such a good person. I'm sure he will be missed so much. My deepest sympathy to all his family and also to David, which James cared for so much. May the Lord comfort all of you.

Oh my dear friend,

I was so saddened to hear of your passing. I know you are at peace and so glad to be reunited with your beloved wife. I have missed our talks at the festivals in Powhatan. You were such a dear sweet man. I still have our picture on my mantle. I will miss you dearly!!!

Betty and I are both very sorry to hear of James' death. We lived next to he and Nellie many years ago on Marwood Drive. They both were the best neighbors we have ever had. James was always there when we needed help with anything. He even fabricated a watering source for about four families for watering our yards from an adjacent creek. My condolences to his survivers. He will be greatly missed.
