BOWLES, Elizabeth Manning "Beth", 85, of Richmond, departed this life, March 6, 2009. She was the widow of James Monroe Bowles. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bowles; her son, J. M. Bowles Jr.; two nieces, Judy Goodwin and her husband, Bob, and Linda Ricker; nephew, Jim Seay. Mrs. Bowles grew up in Church Hill and attended St. Patrick's School. She had a love for Jeopardy. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
